Head out of the gate at Green Park and turn left, head down the hill until you reach the Boating Station, if you are already in need, stop in for refreshments – or admire the view and say ‘hi’ to the ducks then carry on. Head along in front of the Boating Station and up the slope, carry on along the loch side path - past the bridge on the left – and on over the small wooden bridge. Just after the bridge is where the ‘loop’ starts, so you can go either way, but we will carry on along the lochside. Once you reach a T-junction, turn left and then carry on along the path, through the woodland for around 10-15 minutes, until you see – on your right, the waters of Loch Dunmore. This small loch itself has a figure of 8 walk around it, the wooden bridge making up the middle section.
Approx 4km - will take between 1 and 2 hours dependant on speed & ability
Mostly well worn woodland paths & gravel paths. Can be some muddy spots when very wet.
