Where a guest arranges to stay for four nights or more during the hotel's main season on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, the hotel will offer them a complimentary theatre ticket.
This can be taken for any part of the theatre and is not in any way limited to particular sections of the auditorium. There is no restriction on the date on which the concession can be used.
While the principal attractions of the Green Park and Pitlochry are the serenity and calm of their location, the festival theatre provides a compliment to the dramatic situation of the town. The Pitlochry Festival theatre was founded in 1951 and has become one of highland Perthshire's top attractions. A wide selection of plays is available ranging through farce and comedy to tragedy, and the theatre's season has now expanded into the winter months.
The theatre has become so integrated with the life and thoughts of the town, that it has the continuing encouragement and interest of the local community. The Green Park, in particular, gives full support to every aspect of the theatre's activities. The hotel works closely with the theatre, distributing programmes and arranging bookings and concessions for guests.
Welcome to another packed programme of plays, concerts and workshops at Scotland’s Theatre in the Hills. Plan your trip to see one or more of these fabulous productions this Summer season.
Guests staying 4 days or more ( on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis during the hotel's high season ) will each be entitled to a complimentary theatre ticket for a show of their own choice. This complimentary ticket can be for any section of the auditorium.
Visiting the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, view our Auditorium guides, to select your preferred seats.
If you need transport to the theatre, we can contact the local taxi company on your behalf to see if they have availability. Just be aware that the supply of theatre transport has gone from three companies to one, so booking ahead is essential. Please get in touch as early as possible as availability is extremely limited. The cost is £6.50 per person for a return journey, and this would just be added to your final bill.
