Alfred Allan returns our artist in residence this January and February. Alfred is a very well known artist living in Fife, whose work spans a variety of subjects and styles. A self taught artist, his professional skills and imagination have ensured that his work is much admired and eagerly sought after. So are his personal skills for he gives drawing and painting demonstrations, and runs popular workshops at local art clubs and activity groups.
Alfred's courses are designed for the painter - established or otherwise - who would like to improve his or her craft. To allow as much time as possible for personal tuition, numbers for each course are restricted to no more than eighteen pupils, and everyone is encouraged to bring with them a work in progress, be it in oils, acrylics, or watercolours.
There is no supplementary charge for single accommodation on any of our activity breaks, and as normal, we can arrange complimentary transport ( on your day of arrival and day of departure ) between the hotel and the bus and railway stations.
