As you embark on a scenic drive from Pitlochry around Loch Rannoch to Rannoch Station, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Scottish Highlands. And what better way to break up the journey than with a stop at the charming Rannoch Station Tearoom?
Located at the end of the road at Rannoch Station, the Tearoom is a quaint and cozy spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake. The friendly staff will make you feel right at home, and the picturesque views will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
On your way to Rannoch Station, you'll pass through some of the most stunning landscapes in Scotland. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, such as red deer and golden eagles, and take time to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.
To start your journey, head North from the Green Park out of Pitlochry and take the over the Garry Bridge then continue until you reach the Village of Tummel Bridge, turn right at the T junction. Then continue again and pass through the little village of Kinloch Rannoch, where you will then travel along the shore of Loch Rannoch.
The road ends at Rannoch Station, where you will find the Rannoch Station Tearoom, where you can stop for a cup of tea and some delicious refreshments.
So now to head back to the Green Park, you can either take the same route along the northside of the loch, or turn right to Bridge of Gaur to travel along the southside back to Kinloch Rannoch, then head back along the same road to Tummel Bridge, and back to Pitlochry.
As you make your way, there are several key stops that you won't want to miss. One of the first stops is the Queen's View, which offers breathtaking views of Loch Tummel and the surrounding mountains.
Another must-see stop is the Rannoch Moor viewpoint, which provides panoramic views of the vast moorland and the nearby mountains.

Rannoch Station Tearoom is open 5 days a week, from Saturday to Wednesday. They are closed on Thursdays and Fridays. Opening hours are 08:30 (10:00 on Sundays) until 16:30.
