A very popular walk with guests at The Green Park is the circular walk around Loch Faskally. This route takes guests past Pitlochry’s Boating Station, over Loch Faskally via a footbridge around the far side of the Loch to Pitlochry Theatre and Pitlochry’s famous fish ladder with its observation chamber. From the dam one can walk back to the Green Park Hotel along the lochside - or walk up into Pitlochry, and return to the hotel along Atholl Road.
The beautiful woodlands contain a rich blend of oak, pine and birch with abundant wildlife.
The Pitlochry Walks leaflet details some six way marked walk routes, covering a total of 41 miles (6Km). This leaflet has walks of varying length and levels of difficulty, and is available in local shops as well as the Tourist Information Centre. These circular walks offer a wide selection of scenery following rivers, lochside paths, shaded woodland tracks and steep hillsides with panoramic views.
