Hogmanay Breaks at the Green Park Hotel 2011 - 2012
So as to make the most of your day, please feel free to arrive any time from mid-morning onwards. Outlined below is the
itinerary for the Hogmanay period, and complimentary tea and coffee will be available in the lounges throughout your stay.
Thursday 29th December, 2011
3.30pm -
The first organised activity will be an afternoon tea in the sun lounge. Please help yourself from a selection of cakes, scones, preserves and biscuits.
6.30pm -
Sherry and Champagne Punch reception in the lounge prior to a relaxing dinner. The McMenemie Family will be on hand to welcome you, and to introduce you to your fellow guests - a lot of whom you may already recognise from previous visits.
Dinner will be served from 7.00pm.
Friday 30th December, 2011
8.00 - 9.30am -
The day starts with a full Scottish Breakfast, leaving the morning in which to wander at your leisure by Loch Faskally, or perhaps a visit to The House of Bruar.
12.00 -1.15pm -
Light Buffet lunch will be served in the dining room
1.15pm -
Buses leave for “Pitlochry Festival Theatre” and the delights of this years Pantomime, “Sleeping Beauty” Bags of sweets will be provided by the management at no extra cost. Anyone not cheering in a co-ordinated fashion when the hotels name is read out during the show, will be made to baby-sit Liam and Megan for the rest of the celebrations.

Dinner will be served.
Saturday 31st December -New Year's Eve
8.00 - 9.30am -
The day starts again with a full Scottish Breakfast, leaving you the morning to wander or drive at leisure through winter Perthshire - or why not head for the fireside with a newspaper or a book.
1.00pm -
A light ("Scandinavian Buffet") Lunch will be served in the dining room.
6.30pm -
Hogmanay Evening is not to be rushed. Canapés, Sherry and Champagne Punch will be served in the lounge prior to a leisurely four course dinner. Following dinner, Donny Kennedy and his band will lead the festivities and usher us joyfully into the year 2012 with a dram in our hand.
New Years Day
8.30am -10.00am -
Breakfast, and Chris our head chef will be in the dining room cooking freshly made Omelettes with a choice of fillings.
In addition to the normal fare there will be bucks-fizz and minute steaks.
1.00pm -
Light Buffet lunch will be served in the dining room. After lunch why not visit “The Pitlochry Street Party”
6.30pm -
Sherry reception in the lounge
7.00pm -
Followed by dinner. After dinner, please join The Alexander Lindsay Duo with some of your
favourite tunes
Monday 2nd of January
8.00 - 10.00am -
Breakfast and a safe journey home.
For those not in hurry to leave, complimentary coffee and tea will be available in the main lounge. IIf you wish to stay a further night, Dinner bed and breakfast will be charged at £75.00 per person, for each additional night.
